Our Story:
The Haitian Community Independent Web Radio was born during the outbreak period of the COVID 19 pandemic, which changed our social interaction norms. Shaped in the early fall of 2019, the project was faithfully completed after several months in hibernation. The founders, along with financial support of a few friends understood the necessity to create this platform for the Haitian community living in the diaspora. Despite this difficult context of confinement and financial uncertainty, the radio station officially launches its 24 hours broadcasting schedule in July 2020.
Our Mission:
The Haitian Community Independent Radio, is a Connecticut internet broadcasting radio station created to establish a useful communication platform to connect, educate, and empower the Haitian Community.
